what's up ladies and gentlemen of the YouTube where all this is chris and this
0:03
is my channel born 11 970 and thanks for taking the time to check out this video
0:07
and hopefully you will learn how to make your own Oregon pyramids
0:12
I've been getting a lot of emails and a lot of comments about people asking me
0:16
you know where i get my stuff what residents i use things like that so I
0:20
figured instead of just doing a comment i thought the best thing to do would
0:24
make a video and teach you guys how to make them now
0:27
it took me a while to learn how to do these properly because a lot of YouTube
0:31
videos don't show you what to do but they don't really explain everything in
0:35
full detail
0:36
so if you don't know what you're looking at it's not going to teach you anything
0:40
I mean it you're not going to learn how to repair a car by just watching a
0:43
person and they're fixing an engine
0:46
if they don't explain what they're doing what parts they need what tools they
0:49
need
0:50
you're only getting part of the picture so i found that from what people tell me
0:54
I'm very good at educating people how to do things
0:58
I'm a good teacher from what I've been told that could be wrong but i'm going
1:01
to explain how to do it where you can get certain items and then you'll be on
1:06
your way to making your own if you no longer want to buy Oregon pyramids or
1:09
Oregon devices from other people because basically if you go on ebay
1:13
this is the typical pyramid that you will see this isn't one of mine
1:19
what they do is they put a couple of stones like there's a stone there
1:24
there's a stone there there's a little stone there they say sporadically put
1:28
little sponsor stones in a pile in a bunch of metal
1:32
now this is what they claim to be copper all that is a copper coated brillo pad
1:37
which is basically steel with some copper and then they use a lot of
1:40
aluminum
1:41
why because it's cheap so believe it or not this when i bought this a couple
1:46
years ago before i started making them
1:48
this cost me 45 dollars on ebay now I'm going to show you the typical ones that
1:53
I make and the difference because the proper way to make Oregon pyramids if
2:00
you are so inclined to want to make them is they have to be in layers
2:04
they have to be inorganic and organic or all the other way around
2:08
organic-inorganic it has to be layers
2:11
think of it like a filtration system
2:13
so if it's just sporadically placed all over the place like this
2:17
it's not gonna have the same effect as this now when they talk about organic
2:23
materials they're talking about things like you can use crystals and stones
2:27
now the thing that most people who don't research this stuff and automatically
2:30
dismiss it
2:31
find is what they call stranger crazy is they don't believe that everything
2:35
actually has energy
2:37
well energy is nothing more than vibration condensed and the lower the
2:42
event the vibration the more solid something appears because even if you
2:46
look at a rock under a electron microscope
2:51
you're going to see it broken down to its molecules which is nothing more than
2:54
atoms which is light and light as energy and it's moving but because it's such a
2:59
lower vibration and there's so much of those atoms because of magnetism brought
3:05
together you're going to give the illusion of solid and that's why
3:09
something like a light bulb is going to kind of move around like a fluorescent
3:13
light or a neon light it has a higher vibration so it's going to admit openly
3:19
omit better and faster and more noticeable energy so everything in the
3:23
universe is electric and it's held together through magnetism
3:28
so what the people who don't want to research the stuff will never understand
3:32
is crystals and stones have energy depending on the type of stone it is
3:37
will have different types of energies
3:40
when we talk about energy it's nothing more than the vibration coming from the
3:44
movement of the particular atoms that composed of that particular stone or
3:50
crystal or what have you
3:52
so if people research history things like quartz crystals and this isn't as a
3:59
natural
4:00
it's actually what's called a twin it's a terminated crystal the reason they
4:04
call terminators you see it had come to a natural . this hasn't been cut it
4:08
hasn't been done
4:09
it hasn't been altered in any way this is how real quartz crystals grow in
4:14
nature
4:15
so when you see a point at the end it's called determinated crystal if it had a
4:19
point on both ends it's a double terminated
4:22
those are actually very expensive
4:23
but as you can see it's clear and they used to use crystals in the original
4:29
radios because they would attach a copper wire to a quartz crystal and we
4:35
don't emit energy
4:36
so if you research these things they do have energy that's why if you know
4:42
anything about liquid crystal televisions
4:45
it has crystals in it if you know about lasers they use rubies
4:49
so people want to thank all well you're just making this it's a large paper
4:53
weight it's full of rocks
4:55
well no that's not the case the rocks that their thought talking about are
5:00
things like for example you'll find on the street like granite it's all over
5:03
the place but if you even know about your computer your computer especially
5:07
the electronic components are made of primarily either copper which is a metal
5:12
and you have silicone which is a form of quartz the majority of the earth isn't
5:18
is primarily silicon I mean you if you walk on sand
5:21
you're walking on quartz crystal so crystals have energy people just think
5:27
when they hear that that word there so sick of the New Age kind of stuff they
5:31
think i was just magic it's it's hocus-pocus but it's nothing more than
5:34
simple science that everything broken down to its molecular structure will
5:38
have a form of energy depends on the vibration of that energy
5:43
the lower the vibration the more solid the higher vibration the more if the
5:49
role it will become so the way it works is depending on the different types of
5:54
crystals
5:55
we start out with either organic or inorganic it doesn't really matter
5:59
the inorganic are the metals now here's the thing that you got know about the
6:04
majority of people that make these use this now you notice this has not been
6:09
touched because when i first started learning about this stuff I bought all
6:12
this stuff
6:13
not knowing what I was doing until I researched it further aluminum is cheap
6:17
but it's not what you really want to use the things that i use and what i
6:21
recommend if you're making these is like for example these that is actual copper
6:26
nuggets
6:27
i also have steel shavings this is real steel that they make in the shavings
6:33
you can even use you can go to your local stores and I'll just cover the
6:37
name brand so it doesn't matter because I'm not trying to promote any products
6:41
these are copper coated steel bebes so you want to use real metals because
6:46
they're getting it they're going to be better conductors of electricity and
6:50
energy that's why we have copper wires and that's why if you look at your
6:54
computer
6:55
there is actual gold because gold silver copper those kind of metals are very
7:00
high conductors of electricity
7:02
the cheaper the metal the better the worse it's going to be so a lot of
7:06
people to try and make it seem like they're doing cheap prices on their
7:09
pyramids
7:10
they use like this like I said this one
7:14
they're using just a copper brillo pad a copper coated steel brillo pad and they
7:19
use a bunch of other stuff and that's why you'll see in most pyramids
7:24
you'll see a lot of this color because that's aluminum shavings
7:28
here's another thing that i buy and i recommend if you make a bunch or if you
7:31
get into your own business making a move your friends and family
7:34
you buy in bulk this here is five pounds of I think it's either five or ten
7:39
pounds actually five pounds could have two bags of it
7:41
this is solid brass shavings
7:45
so you want to use the real medals so the way in Oregon pyramid is supposed to
7:49
be created is you start out with either inorganic or organic materials and you
7:54
go one after the other until you've completed what you want
7:58
so people always ask what kind of molds do I use
8:02
well you don't want any kind of cheap plastic mold or something made out of
8:07
cardboard because first of all it won't last very long and with the resin
8:11
sometimes you have to leave it in there for hours at a time you want something
8:15
made of metal
8:16
so here is the typical this different sizes but this is the typical pyramid
8:21
mold that you can buy these I get them on ebay if you go and you hid in the
8:27
search engine a pyramid-shaped candle molds you will see these
8:33
now there are some because they called candle molds that have the hole in them
8:36
which you obviously don't want because every older resin will leak through
8:40
so you want to find the ones where they actually have this
8:43
the whole here closed in and the reason for the whole is some people use these
8:47
to make candles and you want the week to be able to go through so all they have
8:52
tiny ones
8:53
I don't know if I have any others in front of me now but they have ones that
8:56
are as far as wide as 12 inches wide they can get a little expensive like
9:00
this mold itself just this one is roughly about eighteen to twenty dollars
9:05
and here's the thing you have to be very careful about one scratch in here and it
9:11
will show up on every pyramid that you make
9:14
so you have to be very careful in how you get these out
9:17
so one of the things that I am definitely going to recommend
9:20
and again I'm not trying to promote any products this is silicone release this
9:26
is a spray and when you're ready to start your pyramid before you mix
9:30
anything together
9:31
you're going to spray a coating of this inside your mold
9:34
what that's going to do is when the mold starts to harden it will separate from
9:39
the molding because and i'll tell you what kind of resin that i use because if
9:44
you buy cheap resin or if you don't use this release
9:48
what will happen is and i found this out the hard way in the beginning is your
9:51
mold will end up trapping your pyramid inside and you can't get it out
9:57
so you'll destroy this and then if you try to use a knife to dig around it
10:01
you're going to scratch it
10:02
any little scratch you basically have to throw these out so you have to be
10:07
careful with that
10:08
so the way to clean these just to show cause you'll see i just made one
10:11
recently and you'll see where the edges the way to use the clean is as you get a
10:15
soft rag and you get some acetone and you just take the acetone place it on
10:20
the rag and just wipe this off until it all comes off usually takes about five
10:25
minutes to clean it but you don't want to scrape at it because again any
10:29
scrapes in this metal will show up on the pyramid
10:32
ok so as far as the residents concerned there's different types of resins you
10:38
get what you pay for
10:39
so you don't want the cheap stuff because i have found through trial and
10:43
error that when you use the cheaper resins they tend to either be very
10:46
cloudy
10:47
are they take ten times longer to dry are they can get stuck in the mold even
10:52
if you use the release I've had that
10:54
the problem we're even with the release it wouldn't come out of the mold
10:58
so this stuff is going to be expensive the reason i'm not going to show is I
11:02
have a five gallon bucket and I didn't feel like lugging that up the stairs
11:05
but what i use and you could write this down to oppose if you need a pen and
11:09
paper is you're going to get what I use is clear polyester resin a lot of people
11:15
use the casting resin
11:17
it's cheaper I don't trust it and with when you use the type of resin that i
11:22
use is the clear polyester resin that's actually what the coach surfboards with
11:26
so it's a very clear and it dries a hundred times faster
11:31
literally it will take about an hour per layer of the cheap resin for each to dry
11:36
with the stuff that i use usually within 20 minutes
11:42
so you're taking a lot less time so the way you're going to do this is you're
11:46
going to start out with your mold
11:49
you're going to spray your silicone release you're going to take
11:53
you're obviously going to need a measuring cup now this is the way I go
11:57
as far as what
11:59
this is the hardener this usually comes with the resin that you buy so you don't
12:02
have to worry about buying this separately but I've got it down to a
12:05
science that for every cup of resin that you put in you need approximately 30
12:11
drops per cup
12:14
so if you use half a cop it's 15 drops you you go accordingly
12:18
so some people they pour so much of it in the problem with that is if you add
12:23
too much hardener it overheats the resin and then of course when you have
12:28
different crystals and stones rocks can retain heat and then what you can end up
12:33
with his cracks in your pyramid
12:35
so if you've ever tried to make them and you see those cracks start forming
12:38
it's because you've added too much of the hartner and it's overheating the
12:42
resin a way that you can / - stop that is you can actually have like a bucket
12:47
of ice water and have this kind of hover in a little bit but that will rest the
12:52
rusted metal over time you need obviously something to start
12:55
you don't want to use plastic because the resin will melt the plastic a lot of
12:59
people don't know that
13:01
so what I like to use is what these are our bamboo skewers
13:05
you can buy these at the dollar store
13:07
you get a hundred of them for a dollar and you use these to mix the resin so
13:10
what you're going to do is you always got to start out with a little bit of
13:14
resin at first because remember this is upside down
13:17
so you're actually doing everything upside down so you're not going to need
13:21
a lot of resin when you start out so you're going to need when you first
13:25
start out if it's like this size and this is a 5-inch pyramid
13:29
you're going to use maybe a quarter of a cup at best and you're going to put in
13:34
your stones now it depends on what you have these are for example and these are
13:39
beautiful but they're expensive
13:41
these are malachite stones you could use these are these are what's called
13:46
tumbled which means they take the natural stone put it in a tumblr and it
13:50
gives that shiny appearance
13:52
now it doesn't matter if you use the natural stone or the tumbled it
13:56
basically is just your preference of how you want it to look
13:58
so all you're gonna do is you mix the resin probably for about a good minute
14:02
minute and a half
14:03
the key thing you don't want to do this endorse because the resin while it's
14:09
starting to dry the midst of vapors and if you try and do it in your house
14:13
you're gonna smell it
14:15
it's not healthy so do this outdoors and you should use a mask
14:21
that's something i would recommend if you have one of those little Hospital
14:25
mask things or whatever you use that but definitely do this outside do not do it
14:29
indoors
14:30
another thing you want to make sure the temperature outside is at least 70
14:34
degrees
14:35
the reason being is if it's under 70 degrees the resin will take a lot longer
14:40
to dry it may not dry at all and it will come out very cloudy
14:44
so you want to make sure if you want to stay nice and clear because as you can
14:48
see how clear these are you can see all the stones
14:53
you want to make sure it's done at the proper temperatures so when you put your
14:57
amount of your harder into here
15:00
you just mix it up for about a minute or two until you see all the little
15:02
cloudiness disappear
15:04
don't mix it too hard if you mix it too hard too fast it's going to form a lot
15:08
of bubbles
15:09
so if you take your time with it the less bubbles
15:12
the more attractive it's going to be and again i'll show you if you notice there
15:16
are no bubbles so you want to do things right
15:19
what happens is you're basically doing it layers so when you do the first layer
15:23
what you always do is before you put the stones in put a little bit of the
15:27
resonant first because if you just put the stones in and put the resin on top
15:31
of it it could create bubbles underneath and then if you don't notice them next
15:35
thing you know it looks like you have an aquarium
15:38
so if you put a little resident first and then put in the stones
15:41
you're going to eliminate that problem and then
